These social developments are nothing but “simple.” Searching for easy answers is the part of the problem. Patrik Hermansson, a researcher for Hope Not Hate, who spent over a year infiltrating alt-right and neo-Nazi groups, told The New York Times: “They are looking for simple binary answers to very complex questions about the state of the world and their own circumstances.” Committing Marx’s and Engels’ mistakes to find the social justice solutions in economics has proven to be wrong — at the cost of many lives. There are complex processes that involve the psychology of masses and individuals, economics and the role of individuals and groups in history, as well as many other factors. Not to mention the powerful machine that manipulates the insecurity of the underprivileged people. The Kremlin provides logistic and financial support on the separatists, ultra-right, neo-Nazi, nationalistic movements of the West: look up The World National-Conservative Movement created in Russia, multiple ties of the US and European neo-Nazis to Dugin (Putin’s brain), conventions of the ultra-right in Russia, etc. Your article, while perhaps well-intended, plays into the hands of the propagandists behind the escalation of neo-Nazi movement in the world. Two days ago the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville changed: “Russia is our friend.” Hear them on that one. More information here:
