KHAKI BABIES, OR THE BRAVE NEW WORLD HAS ARRIVED ON THE TANK
PHOTO EXHIBITION BY EVGENY FELDMAN

Hard Russian glamour died in 2008, taking with glossy reusable magazines, endings ‘ing’, excited ‘ wows’, Swarovski crystals on the yellow convertibles and tight asses of Dolce and Gabanna beasts.
I thought it was gone forever. But it did come back. It returned in a new form, never seen before. It is now Patriotic Glamour.
All specters of population now feel involved in a global world conflict and in the affairs of the Motherland. The Russian president was able to give happiness to people, bypassing the stage of their well-being …
The glamour of the past set the elite apart from the people.
Patriotic Glamour has united the elite and the people on the common ground of consumerism.
Yevgeny Feldman studied these characters for several months—at the elite night clubs and in the sweaty suburb gyms.
His photographic report tells the story of the happiness of conformism.
