good images. poor thinking. as a still recovering survivor of the Soviet Union who lost family and friends to the monstrous regime as well as helping people escape, i recommend more sensitivity and research. your mentality is defined by cinema; a part of my family did not survive the cannibalism of which you speak with such humor and delight. Russia is a country where real people like me have generations of people shot, starved, imprisoned and hailed. Post-modernist smirk and quirky vintage cartoons make fun stories; history is mangled bodies, mass graves, growing up with no right to speak and dark complexity. It does not rule out optimism and hope but it calls for good insight and respectful contemplation. Satire works, too, but not if it dismisses truth that is hard to digest.
