06 August, 2015, Moscow. American consulting company King & Spalding LLC won a Rosneft tender to provide consulting services for integrated commercial support of prospective LNG projects, according to Rosneft. The contract value is 45 million rubles. The contract is concluded for two years.”

Moscow. 11th August. INTERFAX.RU — Five companies have applied to participate in the Rosneft tender for providing complex commercial support for prospective LNG projects…only the Gas Strategies Group, King and Spalding LLK and Galway Energy Advisors were allowed to participate in the purchase.

The contractor will need to support the involvement of project financing and take part in developing a detailed global LNG strategy for the company.

As reported, Rosneft has agreed with ExxonMobil to build an LNG plant on the Sakhalin-1 gas project with a capacity of 5 million tons. The cost of the Far Eastern LNG project is estimated at $8 billion. The plant can be commissioned in 2019.”
